Map-tastic

     The hubs brought home a whole roll of old, unused nautical charts of Chile.   At first, I wanted to make a lamp shade.  But I am starting to think that may be a bit gimmicky -maybe for a kid's room.
     Anyway,  I would like to frame 'em and hang them up.  The muted blues, tans, and white are perfect for my living room.  Also, what a great memento of Chile!

On a side note, my husband loves maps, and he recently ordered this amazing map of the US; one for his office and one for our daughter. 

It's supposed to be a million times better than older standard maps.  I don't really know why.
