Chile celebrated it's 200th anniversary (El Bicentenario) on 18 September!
Almost every airplane, helicopter, and ship, along with many foreign ones, could be seen in or over the bay. My husband got to ride on the ship above.
Notice the kite. There are usually tons of them being flown on the weekends, and they sell them all over. Especially on the beach. Some guys even have huge spools so they can go hundreds of feet up.
